Minor International continues a record-breaking streak with THB 3.8 billion in property sales

Phuket sustains momentum as demand for premium holiday homes surges

BANGKOK (8 November 2021) – Minor International (MINT), one of the largest hospitality, restaurant and lifestyle companies in Asia Pacific, achieves THB 3.8 billion from twelve separate villa sales in Phuket in the past 18 months.

“The momentum that started at the onset of the pandemic is showing no signs of slowing,” said Mr. Micah Tamthai, Chief Operating Officer of Minor Lifestyle. “Demand for our luxury residential portfolio is still predominantly driven by Thai nationals, but the recent reopening of Thailand to international travellers will certainly boost Phuket’s long-standing reputation as an international holiday destination and its long-term investment appeal.”

Recently named Best Luxury Housing Development (Phuket) and Best Housing Development (Thailand) at PropertyGuru’s Thailand Property Awards, Avadina Hills by Anantara features 14 private pool villas ranging in size from 2,452 to 3,373 square metres. With pared-back Japanese-inspired design and 180-degree ocean views from every vantage point, each residence has been designed to emphasise Phuket’s finest asset: its natural beauty. The development offers an alluring island resort lifestyle complete with fully customisable expansion space in every villa to suit each owner’s preferences.

Management and maintenance are provided 24/7 by the adjacent five-star Anantara Layan Phuket Resort. Owners and residents have full access to the resort’s facilities – including a helipad and boat tender drop-off point, private beach, beachside and hillside pools, world-class restaurants and the award-winning Anantara Spa, as well as private in-residence butler, dining and wellness services.

Opening this month is the resort’s new Layan Active Zone, comprising an outdoor gym, rock climbing wall, surf skate field, boxing ring, tennis court, lakeside pool and kids’ pool. At the beginning of December, the development will welcome Beach House by Anantara. Set on Layan Beach, the new three-floor venue will consist of Breeze by Anantara (a contemporary poolside restaurant), zuma at Anantara (pop-up fine dining) and a rooftop bar with panoramic views of the Andaman Sea.

The next phase of the development will see the launch of an integrative wellness centre blending time-honoured therapies with tailored next-generation healthcare and medical treatments.

“As a luxury branded residential development, Avadina Hills by Anantara combines ‘hassle-free’ home ownership in a five-star resort, with the opportunity to generate rental income in a world-renowned holiday destination,” concluded Mr. Micah Tamthai.

Avadina Hills by Anantara is available for private ownership from THB 347 million, with freehold title available for Thai nationals.
